Classic Gingerbread Cookies

- All Purpose Flour - Baking Soda - Salt - Ground Ginger - All Spice - Cloves - Brown Sugar - Dark Molasses - Egg - Vanilla -Butter - Icing

Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, and spices

Combine butter, sugar,  and molasses. Then add in egg and vanilla. Mix for two minutes.

Pour dry mixture into wet mixture. Beat on low speed until combined.

Separate dough into two parts. Form both into disk shape. Cover in a bowl. Chill for 3 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Rollout chilled dough. Cut into shapes.

Bake for 8 - 10 minutes.

Once cooled, decorate with icing.
